Charity Workers Help Amnestied Prisoners and Their Families
The amnesty granted by the Czech Republic President Václav Klaus affects also the workers of the Diocesan Charity in České Budějovice. Those who ask them for help most often are the families of those who were amnestied, or the amnestied prisoners themselves, who currently are not in jail – that is those, who were released on parole or those who were sentenced to community service. The workers also help them to find and provide them with accommodation and food.
The Epiphany Collection in České Budějovice Diocese Has Commenced
To think about what we have done so far, to do a good deed, to open our hearts and selflessly support those who need our help – these are the goals that the Epiphany Collection, the biggest event of its kind in the Czech Republic, tries to invite all the people of good faith to participate at.

Christmas and New Year´s Celebrations for Foreign Children on December 21
We would like to cordially invite the foreigners, both adults and children, to meet in this Christmas time, and celebrate together. The celebration will be held in the spirit of the coming New Year, as it is usually celebrated in the countries located to the east of the Czech Republic. We would like to invite all the foreigners, regardless their nationality.
Charity Advent Concert from Retrospective
There was an Advent Concert held on December 3, 2012 at Otakar Jeremiáš Concert Hall. This concert is a traditional event organized by the Diocesan Charity and the City Charity in České Budějovice.

Who would be willing to donate a washing machine?
EVA Counselling Center will accept a donation in the shape of a washing machine, which will be given to a client who got into a difficult situation. You can contact us either personally at EVA Counselling Center premises located at Riegrova Street 51, Č.Budějovice daily from 8 a.m. till noon and then again from 1 p.m. till 4 p.m. (on Fridays only till 2 p.m.), or you can call us on 387 203 315. If you would prefer to bring your donation to the office of the Diocesan Charity located at Kanovnická Street 16, Č.Budějovice you can of course do so. We would like to thank all the donors in advance.
