This project organized by the České Budějovice Diocesan Charity strives to help kids in Zimbabwe, a sorely tried country full of diseases and destitution. With the unemployment figure at 80% and the inflation rate quite alarming, the Zimbabwean political situation is tricky. The ensuing absence of available funds is a stumbling block preventing children from attending schools and keeping them in unimaginable poverty. The aid, earmarked for children from local schools, kindergartens and children's homes, is presently provided at the areas of Amaveni, Mbizo, Kwekwe, Chishawasha, Marare and a few others. The facilities can remain operational only thanks to sponsorship by people who are not insensitive to the plight of the kids. Despite all the assistance from abroad, children from more remote districts are unable to attend school. A single meal or a corn beverage a day is a luxury to them, just like clothing, medical care, running water and first and foremost - education. Please, think about your possible participation in the Project and help children in Africa...
