Children from the Brest Area chosen by the staff of our partner Diocesan Charity of Pinsk to be included in the Project come typically from single-parent families or they are orphans living with their grandparents. A good many of the single parents have to rely on meager social benefits, their only income - that is why a great number of the families live in dismal material conditions. Children selected for the Project come from the poorest families. The process of selection disregards gender, ethnic identity and religious belief. The sole criterion applied is the gravity of social and economic need of the family wherein the kid lives. The Cross-Border Adoption is not a real adoption - actually it rests in a targeted financial help given to a specifically chosen child. Money thus spent becomes a permanent contribution to the child's life. Your support to the Cross-Border Adoption Project will be much appreciated.
