Note on the volunteer numbers:

Compared with 2009, the number of volunteers reported in 2010 diminished. This reduction can be attributed to:

(1) the floods experienced in 2009 - then the Center deployed 33 volunteers to help remedy the damage that the flood inflicted in the towns of Prachatice and Strakonice. Fortunately, in 2010 this natural disaster did not reappear, and the number of volunteers, therefore, dropped;

(2) the departure of Ms. Lucie Kavalíková, DiS (née Prokopová), a coordinator of volunteers - in June 2010
Ms. Kavalíková went on sick leave, and the new coordinator, Mgr. Eva Opatrná, embarked on her duties as late as September 2010. Consequently, the recruitment of new volunteers was temporarily slowed.
