Help provided by our Volunteers:
Disabled adults (the Bridges of Hope program accredited by the Ministry of the Interior):
- by organizing hobby groups (pottery; creative arts; music; gardening; language studies; using PCs, etc.);
- by arranging trips for clients and escorting them to cultural pursuits;
- by training clients in working activities (raking dead leaves; jobs done in workshops, etc.).
Senior citizens (the Palette of Life program accredited by the CR Ministry of the Interior):
- by acting as their companions - talking & listening;
- by keeping seniors a company in pleasure walks, shopping trips or cultural events;
- by organizing lectures, talks & courses.
Children from socially excluded families (the Chance for All program accredited by the CR Ministry of the Interior):
- by organizing their leisure-time activities, trips & remedial classes; preparing summer camps;
- by organizing hobby groups (dancing; creative arts; music; and others).
Patients at the 1st Follow-Up Care Ward of the Budějovice Hospital (the Volunteers in Hospital non-accredited program):
- by acting as their companions - talking & listening;
- by reading them aloud; playing board games; solving cross-puzzles, etc.
The homeless (the Chance for All program accredited by the Ministry of the Interior):
- by distributing food; teaching languages and PC skills.
Prisoners (the Prison Correspondence program accredited by the Ministry of the Interior):
- by corresponding with them and motivating them for self-improvement;
- by observing the Prison Correspondence rules - using nicknames; forwarding letters via the Charity; never seeing the prisoners;
- by acting as their companions - talking & listening;
- by reading them aloud; playing board games; solving cross-puzzles, etc.
Assisting in the non-profit organization's support activities (the Vincent non-accredited program):
- by distributing handbills; helping to prepare the Open Door Day; sewing; the Epiphany Collection.
