Domestic humanitarian aid

Humanitarian aid provided within the Diocese itself is focused primarily on victims of natural disasters befalling South Bohemia (floods, storms). The charitable work is specifically designed to help the victims to face up to the consequences such critical situations, to assist them in surviving, to ease their economic plight, to relieve their emotional stress and to be instrumental in their rehabilitation. Our mission binds us to direct the aid mostly to those, who are unable to cope with the situation on their own, i.e. in the first place to senior citizens and families with kids.

Forms of the aid:

• financial help (fund-raising);
• material assistance (organizing collections); and
• spiritual and psychological comfort
