The Project of "Low-Threshold Facility for Children & Youth"
Targeted as the aid beneficiaries are primarily children from the socially most vulnerable Romany community, whose parents have to combat existence problems on everyday basis and consequently cannot pay proper attention to their offspring. Moreover, the aid that the facility offers is also instrumental in ameliorating the family itself, as the children carry over to their families the options and alternatives of better life that they newly learned in this low-threshold facility. Acting through education and leisure-time activities, the Project is expected to prevent social exclusion of children possibly brought about by their disadvantaged family background, particularly early in their school attendance when such background is provably damaging to the children's mental condition.
