Social counselling:

The department of social counselling offers its services to women and girls in awkward situations in life, whatever their causes can be, wherein they may feel in need of an advice, help and/or support. The service should support the clients so that they become better oriented in their rights and duties and better capable of managing their circumstances.

In the furtherance of professional social counselling, the year of 2011 has witnessed the implementation of a project named "Way out of debt" focused on helping indebted women, and another called "Assert your rights" whereunder the clients are given free legal advice by an indentured lawyer.

The social services are rendered at the Center's consultation premises on the Riegrova street. When so agreed, our employees are ready to visit the families in their homes, provided the client finds such a form of help more convenient, which happens particularly when the people are in poor health, have several small children and for similar reasons.

The services are provided free of charge and the clients may opt to stay anonymous. The Center can be contacted by e-mail, over the phone or in a personal visit.

In 2011 the service has been funded by the CR Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs; by the České Budějovice City Authority; and by the Region of South Bohemia
