Outreach programs:
The outreach programs are designed to assist people whose poverty, unemployment, insufficient qualification or ethnic origin lessen their chances of finding a proper place in society, and who live within the České Budějovice municipality in what is termed the "socially excluded localities".
The outreach programs are conducted in the natural milieu of the service users. Based upon a preliminary agreement, the social workers engaged in the outreach program pay regular visits to the clients, and in most cases give the counsel directly in clients' households. The workers strive primarily to encourage self-sufficiency in the service users and active approach to addressing their own problems.
