The Center is a registered provider of social services - social counselling (as defined in §37 of Act 108/2006 Coll., On social services). We can provide you with free information, help or guidance if:
- you need help with securing your residence permit
- you don’t know which office to appeal to or how to fill in forms
- you have difficulties with employment
- you need help finding housing
- you have difficulties with health insurance or medical care
- you need information on social security benefits
- you think that your rights are being violated
- you don’t know your obligations
Furthermore we offer:
- free computer courses
- Czech language courses open to all applicants
- English language course
- German language course
- arranging translation and interpretation services
- arranging legal aid
- if justifiable, material assistance in some cases educational and multicultural activities

Consul’s Activity Discontinued
From March 2013 onwards, the Embassy of Ukraine discontinued the activities of their consul in České Budějovice, for the activity was insufficiently funded.
Course of English Commenced on March 12

On March 12, the Counselling Centre for Foreigners and Migrants commenced a course of the English language for foreigners.
Late Afternoon Interest Group for Children of Foreigners

The Counselling Centre for Foreigners and Migrants is starting with a new project called “Late afternoon interest group”. This project will provide children with an opportunity to play games, create hand-crafted products out of various materials, and sing etc... In other words, to spend their time after the school teaching is over in a pleasant way.
Christmas and New Year´s Celebrations for Foreign Children on December 21

We would like to cordially invite the foreigners, both adults and children, to meet in this Christmas time, and celebrate together. The celebration will be held in the spirit of the coming New Year, as it is usually celebrated in the countries located to the east of the Czech Republic. We would like to invite all the foreigners, regardless their nationality.
Arrival of the Angel

An excellent artist, chanson singer, guitarist, writer, poet and also a sensitive man; all these can describe in the Czech Republic immensely popular Bulat Okudzhava, who passed away fifteen years ago, on June 12, 1997 in Paris.
